PENANG TRIP DAY 1

It's has been a really hectic year for me but I shall start to pen down my thoughts and blog more often. I would love to share my first trip to Penang with everyone.

As my dad has always wanted to travel back to Penang and try their local food again. He used to visit Penang very often back in his younger days. My brother and I have decided to bring the whole family for a short trip. Once everything has been planned out, off we go to Penang!

Grabbed some food at terminal 2 before the flight.

Brother was wondering how do we get the drinks from this machine. We were told by the staff that we have to order the drinks at the drink stall. This machine only caters for food ordering.

Family wefie before flying off.

Penang Airport

We touched down Penang Airport at approximately 4pm and we got this Malaysia prepaid sim card for RM35.

We skipped the long queue at the taxi stand and hop onto a private car which was more comfortable but cost slightly more... It was approximately RM60.

Finally, we have reached G hotel Kelawai!! Chance upon this hotel on the net when I was planning for this trip.

Loved every part of the hotel interior design.

While waiting for our turn to check in, we were given EYE-scream!!

This is the resting area at their lobby.

The tour of our hotel room!

Beverages here are complimentary

Brother highly recommended this place for their delicious seafood dishes!

Salted egg yolk crab!

Sambal Kangkong!

(Gu Lao Rou) Sweet & Sour Pork. It's crispy and tasty!

Oyster Omelette.

After the end of our first meal in Penang, we are all feeling so full and bloated. My brother was glad that dad and mom enjoyed the dishes we ordered for them.

A signboard for those who drives there.

Chock Full of Beans

Woke up early and off we go, cafe hopping and here we ended up at Chock Full Of Beans!! I have always wanted to try a ice latte with the 3D latte art,  but I haven't got the time to make my way to Changi(The furthest east side of Singapore). But on that day my boyfriend and I finally manage to squeeze out the time and made our way there! We spotted the cafe instantly after getting off the car at Changi Village, it was located at the far corner of Block 4 next to the carpark. We've also heard about the famous Nasi Lemak from Changi Village Hawker center(mizzy corner) and we've decided to give it a try before having our iced latte!

Nice decoration and the standard pose I use to take a photo of the cafe outlook (look at my reflection)

Lovely looking Cafe!

The cakes looks so yummy, i'll definitely try it on my next visit!

The highlight of the day! Unbearably Cute 3D latte art iced coffee with a 3D bear made out of milk form!! Just can't bear to drink the bear away hahah.

It definitely worth another picture of it!
